The MG Windsor EV’s battery rental program is you, the customer, paying for the usage of the vehicle’s battery pack. The cost of the battery isn’t included in the vehicle’s price and you need to pay for its usage, which stands at Rs 3.5 per km. You need to recharge it for a minimum of 1,500 km.
What is the price of the MG Windsor EV in India?
MG has priced the Windsor EV with the battery rental option from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). This price doesn’t include the battery pack cost, and you’ll pay Rs 3.5 per km for the battery subscription.
Alternatively, you can buy the EV as a complete unit, including the battery pack, with prices ranging from Rs 14 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.
